Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent in executing construction projects, particularly in water and wastewater sectors. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in coordinating various aspects of project management, from documentation to budgeting and scheduling, ensuring the projects are completed successfully and enhance our long-term capacity and reputation.
ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Manager and Superintendent in executing the project effectively.Generate RFIs and PCO documentation, maintaining files and logs.Aid in the creation and processing of submittals, ensuring accuracy and coordination with engineers and suppliers.Participate in the creation of various project plans and submittals.Issue purchase orders and subcontracts as directed.Maintain the Bill of Materials as instructed.Attend project meetings to stay informed and contribute to project progress.Gain knowledge of construction practices related to water and wastewater projects.Monitor project budgets to assist in maintaining project profitability.Track the CPM Schedule to ensure the project is on or ahead of schedule.Assist in receiving materials and entering them into the View Point system.Ensure safe work practices through preplanning and engineering measures.Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure proper equipment usage and site productivity.Support project construction to adhere to contract documents and industry standards.Assist with project startup and closeout procedures as directed.Notify the Project Manager or Superintendent of any significant issues impacting safety, work efficacy, schedule, profitability, or reputation.Essential Skills2-4 years of experience in project engineering or construction management.Experience in scheduling and project management.Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment construction practices.Understanding of safe work practices and safety engineering measures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in water treatment projects preferred but not required.A proactive and curious approach to learning and development.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
Company vehicle can be provided based on experience level
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Livermore,CA.
