About the Role:
UGL is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (EI) to join our team in Kwinana, and contribute to a challenging range of electrical and instrumentation projects in the resources sector.
You will oversee the technical and administrative aspects of projects to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery in compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with UGL safety policies, perform risk assessments, and encourage a culture of safety across all project teams.Provide technical advice, support, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering and planning to testing and delivery.Collaborate with project teams to meet project milestones, manage schedules, and handle client-submitted materials.Assist in preparing and reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITRs) and associated project-specific procedures.Manage compliance with quality management systems and client requirements.Support procurement and subcontractor management processes.Prepare reports, documentation, and maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Perform site inductions and enhance team capabilities through active participation in learning and development initiatives.Drive continuous improvement in processes and maintain compliance with industry best practices.Qualifications Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience).Minimum of 7 years' experience, including at least 3 years in a project engineering capacity within the construction industry.Expertise in AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079 standards.Strong project management knowledge with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.Advanced verbal and written communication skills, along with resilience, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.What We Offer:
