Minimum Requirements
International Motors, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer in Lisle, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 5 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience OR PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science. Required Skills: Develop commercial vehicles from initial concepts through design, validation, and launch using design quality tools including design for manufacturing, design for assembly, GD&T, and statistical tolerance stack-up; Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion on the agreed time plan supporting the program goals; Perform in a cross functional team and organize people and activities, working with release and overall timing plan to support program deliverables at various stages of the product development process; Apply engineering and quality design and development methodologies: (8D, FMEA, DVP&R) to deliver engineering solutions that meet the industry standards, regulations, and best practices; Use Unigraphics UG-NX or any CAD related software for design and documentation where design serves the functional needs of the application and reflects an awareness of cost, weight, quality, manufacturability, and serviceability. 15% domestic travel; 10% international travel; must within live within normal commuting distance of Lisle, IL.
