Job Description
Actalent is seeking to hire a Project Engineer to join us in the piping manufacturing industry, who will be responsible for the design and analysis of products, creation of submittals, and project coordination and management from design through assembly. The role also includes providing manufacturing support and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze products to meet project specifications.Create detailed submittals for project proposals.Coordinate and manage projects from the initial design phase through to assembly.Provide support to manufacturing processes and teams.Contribute to the continuous improvement of product and process quality.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design.Strong project management skills.Experience with GD&T and manufacturing processes.Ability to perform FEA analysis.Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CREO software.EIT certification preferred.California Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.Work Environment
The work environment is typically a quiet, temperature-controlled indoor office setting. There are occasional requirements to visit various shop areas, which may involve short exposure to weather and noise. Use of safety equipment is occasionally necessary. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
