Position Title: Project Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to oversee the EPC contractor responsible for the Bucket Wheel Reclaimer 7 (BWR7) Upgrade. The role involves managing the full EPC scope—engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction. The successful candidate will ensure technical alignment, cost and schedule control, and effective stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate with the EPC contractor's design teams, ensuring a collaborative approach and addressing any design-related issues Manage and coordinate responses to technical queries during the engineering phase Manage project interfaces between EPC and Fluor scopes of work in relation to the BWR Monitor and manage project costs and schedules Coordinate and participate in safety and design reviews Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methodologies Proven project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budget control Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage contractor and client relationships Ability to identify, assess, and resolve technical and execution issues
