Resumen To support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering design projects related to the development, improvement, or industrialization of metal-mechanical products (e.g., refrigerators or components), ensuring compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, cost, and quality standards. Responsabilidades Main Responsibilities: Participate in project planning: timeline, resources, and activity scheduling. Support technical and administrative execution of engineering design tasks. Provide follow-up on product development, from concept to validation. Coordinate with internal departments (design, quality, manufacturing, procurement) to meet project objectives. Assist in the implementation of engineering changes (ECO/ECN). Document project progress and prepare regular status reports. Attend and contribute to internal and external project meetings. Ensure compliance with technical standards and applicable regulations. Identify project risks and propose preventive or corrective actions. Support product design and development projects (refrigerators & metal-mechanical components) Prepare CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and validation processes Track project progress and contribute to reports and presentations Ensure technical compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. 2 to 4 years in engineering project support or design roles (internships, co-ops, or academic projects are acceptable). Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of project management (PMI, SCRUM – desirable). Use of project tracking tools (MS Project, Trello, or similar). Basic knowledge of metal-mechanical manufacturing processes. Mechanical drawing reading and interpretation. Desirable: CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
