As a Project Engineer, you will:



• Serve as a FBM Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead by planning technical work scope, actively managing budget, schedule, and execution.
• Ensure control accounts are completed with acceptable Cost, Schedule, and Risk to meet sales and revenue goals by communicating and providing leadership and customers with accurate and up to date status
• Manage a geographically distributed multi-disciplinary team to deliver on established programmatic commitments.
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Ensure engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers
• Support add hoc tasking by program management leaders
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience with Contract Deliverables and Scope Management
• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs
• Experience in budget development or management.
• Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
• IMS (Integrated Master Schedule) development or management of
• Experience with Earned Value Management principles
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
• Systems thinking, technical management, or technical integration experience
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Master's degree in a Business or Engineering field
• Project management Certification (PMP)
• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
• Experience with technical integration and systems engineering.
• Prior experience with Agile project implementation
• Prior CAM (control account management) experience
• Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers
• Familiarity with Navy Strategic System Partners (SSP) Customer
• Strong leadership skills
• DoD TS clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
