You will be the Simulation & Systems Lab (SSL) Infrastructure and Integration Team Facilities Project Engineer. Our team is responsible for gathering lab facilities specific infrastructure requirements, developing strategies for lab infrastructures, implementation of lab builds, management of the SSL vehicle pool and supporting current and long range planning for personnel seating.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Simulation & Systems Lab (SSL) Infrastructure and Integration Team Facilities Project Engineer you will be responsible facilities related projects, Master Seating planning and the Transportation pool.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and executing Capital and Overhead facilities projects supporting the needs of Simulation & Systems Labs. This includes Development, Planning, Investigation, Tracking, and Implementation.
• Be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the SSL Master Seating Management documentation supporting modifications of and creation for new spaces (both near term and long range planning) and orchestrate solutions for competing needs between teams.
• Manage and coordinate the Maintenance of the Simulation & Systems Lab Vehicle Pool [i.e. trailers, lifts, passenger vehicles, etc.] with Transportation including logistics of getting assets to the Garage and the support of the Kiosk checkout equipment.
• Possess a general understanding to read/understand construction blueprints.
• Be familiar with Government Facilities Security Documentation in support of construction for laboratories and workspaces requiring standards such as ICD-705.
• Have a working knowledge in Industry standards [i.e., National Electric Code, National Fire Association Codes, etc.]

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or relevant experience/combined education

• Has strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation and organizational qualities and effective project management attributes.
• Capable of working in a demanding and fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point, and competency with MS VISIO, or similar drawing packages.
• Desired experience with facilities related tools such as MAXIMO [Facilities Project Requests], DRDB [Capital Planning / Execution] and LM Buildings [Seating and Facilities Mods].

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
