We are looking for Project Engineer. This position will be based at Atlanta GA.

You’ll make a difference by:

Project Design and Engineering: Apply your expertise in electrical engineering and systems to improve design and develop DC (Direct Current) fast charging infrastructure projects. Ensuring a superior quality technical solution to meet challenges in customer projects. Collaborate with multi-functional teams, drive and create innovative solutions that align with industry standards and safety laws. Technical Documentation: Review technical site plans and provide structured and organized feedback and comments. Generate detailed technical documentation, specification, manuals, system layouts and project reports. Maintain accurate and organized records throughout the project lifecycle. Site Assessment: Occasionally conduct site assessments to evaluate project plans and site layout. Work with customers, electrical installers, and utility companies to assist with expertise on charging infrastructure equipment. Work closely with installers to provide them with the technical details of the Heliox products to realize a fully functional system on paper. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with customers, internal teams, external vendors, and contributors to ensure seamless project execution. Support Project Managers to communicate project updates and progress to collaborators, fostering a collaborative environment. Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop and drive improvements of equipment installation and system integration. Research and Innovations: Stay abreast of advancements in EV (Electric Vehicle) charging technologies, industry trends, and emerging standards. Suggest and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and performance of charging stations.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably in Electrical Engineering or System Engineering. Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience with the following: Project engineering, with focus on either electrical systems and installations or system integration. Strong social skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams and external partners and customers. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to solve technical issues. Proficiency in relevant software tools for design, and documentation. A willingness to travel occasionally as required for site visits and project implementation. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with construction and design projects. Familiar with industry standards and protocols (e.g., CCS, SAE-J3105, J1775, NEC, NFPA 70, OCPP) Knowledge of energy storage systems and smart grid integration.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
