About the job:
Kent is looking for a Construction Project Director who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction projects from initiation to completion. Specific area of focus is LNG Mega Projects. This includes planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, budget, and schedule. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery.

Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety within the project team.Inspire site teams to adhere to the highest safety culture in industry.Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Execution and Monitoring:
Lead project teams in executing project plans and ensure adherence to established timelines and budgets.Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.Maintain effective communication channels with neighbours, clients, contractors, and project teams.Resource Management:
Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure project success.Coordinate with HR and project managers to secure necessary personnel for the project.Quality Assurance:
Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.Financial Management:
Monitor project budgets and financial performance.Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and clients.In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Communication:
Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.Ability to communicate at Senior/Sponsor level with adaptability to cascade messaging to field construction personnel.Proven ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.Behavior/ Core Competencies:
20+ years’ overall experience required.Global LNG Mega project experience.Proven experience in managing oil and gas projects, including exploration, drilling, and production phases.Strong leadership and communication skills.Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.HSSEQ:

Details about the role:Location: Vancouver / Squamish, British Colombia, CanadaRelocation required: Temporary relocation to Vancouver, BC with frequent trips to project site in Squamish, BC.
