Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Project Coordinator with extensive experience in construction project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing, requesting, and tracking all required construction project documentation for multiple, simultaneous projects. This role includes supporting the retrieval and input of client utility information into company tools and software, utilizing and updating construction tracking software and documents, and developing, tracking, and processing prevailing wage documentation.

ResponsibilitiesIssue, request, and track all necessary construction project documentation including proposals, letters of intent, change orders, purchase orders, drawings, submittals, RFIs, invoices, certificates of insurance, and close-out documents.Support the retrieval and input of client utility information into company tools and software.Utilize and update construction tracking software and documents.Develop, track, and process prevailing wage documentation.Attend meetings as requested and assist the team with determining project requirements.Assist the Operations Team in the development and issuance of project proposals, client contracts, RFPs, budgets, schedules of values, and payment applications.Coordinate meetings and schedule site visits as requested by the Operations Team.Assist the Operations Team with tracking the progress and quality of work performed by various disciplines/trades.Use project scheduling and control tools to assist with monitoring project plans.Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.Assist the Operations Team in reviewing and assembling subcontractor quotes to ensure fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.Prepare substantial completion documentation and review and assemble all required project close-out documents, ensuring delivery to the client.Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude and develop this attitude in others.Keep the Operations Team informed about project documentation status and other issues that may impact client satisfaction.Assist the Operations Team with permitting and jobsite inspection procedures.Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a project coordinator with a construction company.Professional experience using MS Office and/or Bluebeam (or similar).Experience with RFIs, submittals, and other related tasks as described in the job responsibilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsSuperior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong analytical and computer skills with attention to detail.Ability to interact effectively across organizational functional roles to achieve goals and meet deadlines.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable using various project management tools and software, such as MS Office and Bluebeam, to facilitate efficient communication and project tracking. The position involves attending meetings, coordinating site visits, and working under pressure to meet deadlines, all while maintaining a professional and constructive attitude.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00/hr.
