Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description

Coordinate schedules, resources, and documentation for active construction projects. Assist in preparing bid packages, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Monitor project timelines and budgets, flagging delays or discrepancies. Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. Support field operations with logistics, procurement, and reporting. Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and ensure timely updates.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate schedules, resources, and documentation for active construction projects.Assist in preparing bid packages, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Monitor project timelines and budgets, flagging delays or discrepancies.Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.Support field operations with logistics, procurement, and reporting.Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and ensure timely updates.Essential SkillsGreat communication and organizational skills.Ability to work within Excel for construction paperwork such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders.3 to 10 years of experience working for a mid to large-sized general contractor.Expertise in project coordination and construction management.Proficiency in data entry, administration, document control, and project administration.Additional Skills & QualificationsHeavy civil experience is a nice to have.Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a nice to have.Work Environment

The role requires working 5 days a week on-site in the office. The position offers flexibility to work in either Sussex County or Bergen County in New Jersey. The work environment provides an opportunity to grow and develop within reputable civil construction firms, offering a very good benefits package upon conversion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86/hr.
