Project Coordinator
Rural Electric
Collaborates with field supervisors and home office staff to ensure that job/construction project(s) are on time and on budget through management of project revenue, materials, and expenses.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
+ Inventory, check, examine and measure materials.
+ May assemble and bind reports, proposals, bids, estimates, schedules as needed.
+ Verify all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, specifications.
+ Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc., to supervisor.
+ Compile data and information from technical and accounting sources; calculations and summarizations of same as directed.
+ Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.
+ Coordinate and process general administrative work (time sheets, vacation requests, supply requisitions, etc.) for supervisor's signature.
+ Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:
Educational and experience requirements include: High School diploma or equivalent required with Associates or College Degree preferred. Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings & specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to discipline. Intermediate computer literacy including Microsoft Suite, and accounting software. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.
