The Project Controls Technician will support maintaining project cost performance reports, logging invoices, providing schedule support and entering data in cost systems. Assist with project set-up in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.Input data and maintain logs in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools.Assist with creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).Develop a basic understanding of reporting calendars and interaction of different reporting functions.Responsible for following project execution plans.Assist with budget tracking against Purchase Orders and Subcontracts. Input updates to cost reports or forecasts.Assist with upstream (prime contract) and downstream (purchase order & subcontract) change orders.Assist in the development of various levels of schedules.Assist with inputting logic ties within the schedule.Assist with resource loading a schedule.Compile various schedule reports and format as directed.Input data and update schedule progress.Assist with the development of an earned value management system.Assist with the verification of progress measurement.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
