Exciting opportunity to join a global EPC firm supporting robust Mining & Metals construction projects on the Gulf Coast in Bay Minnette, AL. Our client is currently seeking a Associate Project Controls Specialist III to support Construction Site Planning Measurement. 

Position Description: This position will work with the Area Planning Lead to support coordination of subcontractor’s schedule 3 week look ahead , support area planning scheduling update with the Lead Area Planner.    
The position is a site position.
Work Shift is 10 hrs x 5 days a week.
The project is looking for local hires – Graduates from University with a BS in Construction management or Engineering Degree preferred or related field and 1-2 year experience

Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
 Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
 Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
 Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Collect data, input updates, and produce basic scheduling management reports
Ensure efficiency and accuracy in generating and gathering data; maintain orderly records to ensure the integrity of the system
Use Project Controls reference systems as primary tools for executing responsibilities
Computer skills a must.
1-2 year experience. 
P6 Knowledgeable

This position will work with the Area Planning Lead to support coordination progress with subcontractors, verified installed field quantities, support construction progress reporting.
