If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role. **Job Description** **Core Expectations** + Own and manage the overall financial health of each site in your region. + Is responsible for the overall direction and performance of the Fluor Project Controls Systems. Project Controls Systems include but are not limited to: Project Cost, Planning & Scheduling, and Estimating; to include Constructability Reporting, Benchmark and Score Card Reporting. + Conduct yourself and your organization’s business dealing in a professional and ethical manner reflecting favorably for Fluor and Procter and Gamble (P&G). + Maintains liaison and communication with the appropriate areas and the level of responsibility with customers and suppliers with whom Fluor has interface, both internal and external. + Report to the P&G Account Finance Manager all information necessary to protect and promote the P&G/Fluor account. + In a staff role, assist the Fluor Site Operations Manager appropriately with input in the areas of site and operational direction. Provide guidance to management through interpretation of procedures, work instructions, and standards. + Workload and staffing conditions may dictate involvement with other organizational functions. Assist where required, when called upon or when the need is recognized. **Principle Duties** + Continuously seek ways to improve Fluor Site Cost Systems. Strive to achieve benchmark, break-through, and World Class results. Foster this environment within your group. + Define the Site Project Controls Systems Strategy and Measures to successfully accomplish the execution functions of the Group. + Work extensively and collaboratively with all finance-related positions. This includes, but is not limited to; PBS, AP, APS, & craft timekeepers. + Directly manage, monitor, and control the Project Controls organization and its functions. Determine full time, part time and temporary staffing requirements to effectively meet and match workload requirements. Distribute assignments across the region to meet specific project and site needs. + Maintain communication with internal and external customers to ensure needs and expectations from the Group are understood and being met. + Obtain approvals from site management when necessary to implement procedural and directional changes. Solicit feedback from others that will feel the effects of changes. + Implement and maintain effective project controls systems, thereby enabling Fluor to meet project needs. Systems, procedures, and CBA’s must align with P&G and Fluor auditing requirements. + Maintains orderly records, files, data, and all history whereby ensuring the integrity of Fluor systems, thus obtaining favorable audit results. + Establish and maintain an effective Change Management Process. Ensure that the process is understood and used across the Fluor organization. + Owns the Construction Scheduling Process for the site. Will provide overall direction and support for construction scheduling. Makes recommendations and solicits management support to further the process. Ensures overall scheduling requirements are met. + Assists with the preparation and maintenance of Site Operational and Procedure Manuals. + Owns Site Constructability Reporting Program. Participates in the Constructability Network and attends network meetings. Share learning’s and implements new programs suggested at the network meetings to enhance the site program. Constantly seeks involvement and participation from Fluor and their contractors. + Maintains Site Measures Systems and Reporting: (scorecard, construction operations budgeting detail, constructability, savings, workload forecasting, etc.) **Basic Job Requirements** • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner **Other Job Requirements** **Preferred Qualifications** • Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost or schedule management systems • Having leadership roles on various projects is preferred • May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
