Project Controls Professional III
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Controls Professional III opening for our client in Richland, WA. Location: Richland, WA Duration: 12 months Duties: Support project monitoring, risk identification, and cost tracking for complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Coordinate, track, and execute project schedules and estimates. Provide technical direction and assistance to project managers in developing project scope, schedules, and cost estimates. Monitor and report project schedule/scope/cost changes to management in a timely manner. Develop detailed project implementation schedules (Level 1–5) using Primavera P6. Integrate cost estimates with schedules to create resource-loaded cost flow projections. Analyze schedule deviations and prepare reports on impacts, baseline vs. progress schedules, and recovery plans. Evaluate real-time cost/schedule performance and recommend corrective actions. Assist in developing accurate Estimates to Completion (ETC). Maintain and review project data within relevant databases, ensuring configuration control. Identify lessons learned and apply them for continuous improvement. Attend project meetings, safety meetings, and other required sessions. Mob/De-Mob: Pending candidate approval (mileage or flight). Per Diem: Not available. Remote Work: May be available after 3–6 months based on training, performance, and team needs. Skills: Expertise in Earned Value Management methodology and project controls. Strong analytical, mathematical, and variance analysis skills. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in teams. Experience: 8+ years in project controls or project management in an industrial environment with a bachelor’s degree, OR 9+ years with an AA degree, OR 11+ years with a HS diploma/GED. Formal training in Primavera P6 or equivalent project management software. Experience with large, complex projects ($25M+ budgets) preferred. Desired: Experience in nuclear, renewable energy, or construction industries; Microsoft Power BI, Asset Suite, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Workday. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (Engineering, Project Management, or similar). Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered. Desired: PMI certifications (PMP, PBA, SP, CAPM, or RMP). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
