Airswift is seeking a Project Controls Integration Specialist to work on a permanent contract in Bogota with a consulting firm specializing in engineering and project management, with a focus on cost control and planning.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Controls Integration Specialist will be responsible for on-site enablement and integration of project controls systems, processes, and data for a mining project in Colombia. The specialist will be embedded within the Customer’s project team, supporting the alignment and synchronization of risk, planning, scheduling, and cost control systems including Primavera P6, Costrac, and other related platforms, with advanced data output via Power BI.
The specialist will act as the primary conduit for quality information flow from the Customer to company international offices, ensuring data integrity and the timely provision of well-structured project control inputs.
Responsibilities include driving on-site quality assurance across project controls data, coordinating stakeholder engagement, facilitating system implementation, and maintaining integrated control systems. The specialist will also support workshops, coaching, and training initiatives related to data management, system usage, and reporting protocols.
Ensure that the required information and data is received from the Customer on time.
Ensure that the information and data is of the required quality for seamless integration into company systems.
Use tools such as Pivot tables to analyze and assess data.
Liaise with Customer team to resolve queries raised during analysis of the data received from them.
Manage bi-directional data flows between cost and schedule platforms to ensure consistent, real-time synchronization.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field would be advantageous.
Experience in project controls, including planning, scheduling, and cost control.
Strong experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of data
This role requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, speak)
Schedule, Cost and Risk integration Experience in system implementation would be advantageous.
Experienced in managing teams and stakeholder engagement
Understanding of Primavera P6. Working knowledge would be advantageous.
Costrac or equivalent cost management systems.
Understanding of Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
Advanced Excel including pivot tables, analytical functions, and data normalization  techniques
Strong understanding of WBS, CBS control accounts, and earned value management.
Data quality assurance and control.
System implementation support – onboarding, training, and change management for new tools.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting – identifying and resolving data and system issues efficiently.
