Your Challenge

As a Junior Project Controller, you will be required to provide support for one or more project teams through providing comprehensive financial support and implementation of project management controls. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, reporting & analysis, business process improvement, and month end project settlement activities.

In addition you will support the head of finance digital transformation in developing the future digital finance skills and tools needed for the finance role.

Some of your main activities will be:To prepare project costs calculations and documentation, prepare Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) and variance analysis [budget vs actual]Provide accurate information to drive project profitability and other performance metrics trough ad hoc project reporting and analysis as requiredTrack, reconcile and work to minimize project unbilled balancesMonitor and work to increase project cash flowPrepare risk and opportunity assessments; develop and implement plan to mitigate risksPrepare detailed monthly project rolling forecastsTimely and accurate project settlement, prepare month end project journal entriesSupport internal and external auditsEnsure project accounting is aligned with Government accounting standards as well as company policies and proceduresInteract with support teams including Corporate Accounting, IT, HR, Contracts, and Supply Chain Management and International stakeholdersAnalyzing the digital skills needed for the finance role in the futureActively search for trainings in digital financeContributing to the digital initiatives of the companyRequired entry qualifications:You are under 29 and a fresh graduate in master’s degree in economics or management engineeringA 3-month finance internship experience is a plus as well as an international experienceAspiration to develop a finance path and growGenuine interest for digitalizationKnowledge of office 365, SAP, Mendix will be a plusAbility to work in team, sometime located abroad, and think about everything from the customer perspectivePassion to never-stop growingRespect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledgeProficiency in English and ItalianEligibility to work in ItalyWhat we offerFlexibility: trustful environment with an inclusive and flexible way of working driven by results,; hybrid and remote working enabled by innovative tools and devices, personal computer and smartphone; wi-fi connection reimbursement.Welfare: flexible welfare programs and health insurance extendable to your family; professional and extraprofessional accident insurance; free on-site lunch options.Never stop growing: plenty opportunities for continuous and individual learning journeys An inclusive team culture where you can be yourself
