The Role: Project Controller

We’re looking for a proactive Project Controller to support bids and projects across their lifecycle. You’ll provide financial oversight, manage risks, and partner with project teams to drive strong performance and results. This is a full-time permanent role based in William Street, Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage financial performance of bids and projects, ensuring compliance with processes and controlsValidate financials at key bid reviews (Commitment Control, Gate 2 & 3)Set up projects (WBS/CBS, budget allocation, risk and opportunity management)Monitor and report on budgets, forecasts, variances, and overall project performanceEnsure accurate sales, margin, revenue, and cash flow reportingPartner with project teams to manage risks, recovery plans, and end-of-project reviews

 

Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Degree qualification (preferred)Advanced Excel and strong analytical skillsSolid finance experience across bids and projectsProven ability to optimise processes and business performanceSkilled in managing large data sets and cost analysisStrong stakeholder management, attention to detail, and communication skills
