Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Manager in IAS UK. The role requires someone with a strong professional background across Project Management/ Controls who is looking to add a people management component to their previous experience.
The position requires someone with a proven track record in delivering a top class project control reporting structure across multiple programmes or portfolio.
This role will be key in delivering an empowered and enabled PMO functional experience to the business. The successful candidate will coordinate project reporting, promote a continuous improvement culture and ensure PMO activity undertaken complies with relevant company processes.
Day to day they will support delivery of current portfolios in their business area sector, deliver specialist tools implementation and upskilling the PMO teams.

To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
About You
You will multi-task and prioritise without the requirement for regular direct supervision. You’ll have the ability to establish and meet deadlines and be aware of advanced project controls techniques.
You will have experience of supporting the delivery of successful projects in support of Project Management Teams and have a good understanding of the full business lifecycle management, including capture, qualification and winning strategies together with an understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule project activities (for example; WBS, OBS, milestones, dependencies, EVM).
You will have experience of the Project Management process (including Change Control, Risk Management and Information Management) as well as knowledge of the project life cycle for complex projects through delivery of Development, Implementation, Closure and Support activity.
You will demonstrate strong negotiation, presentation and report writing skills with proven experience of building strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders together with having excellent organisational, managerial and team working skills.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in reporting and risk management and be an expert user of planning and scheduling tools, with experience in a Project Management Office or Project Management context, you will have a proven track record of growing yourself and others.
