Project Assistant - Level II - Sales
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Project Assistant - Level II – Sales to join our team specializing in Sales for our PowerGen Commercial Department in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Enhancing Project Management: By applying process and project management skills, you'll help streamline project workflows and improve efficiency. + Supporting Project Execution: Your assistance in managing small portions of well-defined projects will ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope. + Providing Administrative and Logistics Support: Your organizational skills will keep the project team and manager well-supported, ensuring smooth operations. + Resolving Project Issues: By identifying, tracking, and collaborating with others to resolve issues, you'll help maintain project momentum and prevent delays. + Monitoring and Communicating Project Status: Your updates will keep the project team informed, facilitating better decision-making and coordination. + Assisting with Budget Planning and Tracking: Your support in budget management will help ensure financial resources are used effectively and efficiently. + Managing Project Risk: By using quality tools to identify areas of risk, you'll contribute to proactive risk management and mitigation strategies. + Documenting and Sharing Learnings: Your efforts in maintaining project notes and databases will help capture valuable insights and share them with other teams, fostering continuous improvement. **RESPONSIBILITIES** To be successful in this role you will need the following: + Project Management Skills: Ability to balance scope, schedule, and resources effectively to ensure project goals are met. + Effective Issue and Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing issues and risks, and taking actions to minimize and control them. + Resource Management Expertise: Skills in developing and managing resource plans, including expenses and headcount, to ensure efficient use of resources. + Excellent Communication and Adaptability: Capability to explain complex topics to various audiences and integrate customer perspectives to enhance project outcomes. **QUALIFICATIONS** Education/ Experience: + College or equivalent degree - A minimum of BSc / HND or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. + Proficiency in Microsoft office. + Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience. **Job** Sales **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Office **ReqID** 2412678 **Relocation Package** No
