Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to join our team in Middleton, Massachusetts. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to project success while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a customer-focused approach, ensuring smooth project operations and timely communication. Responsibilities: • Provide clients with accurate product availability and lead time details. • Process and manage project-related sales orders efficiently. • Verify the accuracy of all sales orders to ensure proper fulfillment. • Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to address project-related needs. • Utilize supply chain reports to establish estimated shipping dates and communicate these to customers. • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to monitor product timelines and share updates with clients. • Review open orders weekly to ensure deadlines are met and inform customers of any potential delays. • Partner with the shipping department to manage logistics and provide tracking information to customers. • Follow established procedures for returns and notify product managers of defective product returns. • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. • Strong skills in managing timelines and ensuring project schedules are met. • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service. • Familiarity with customer service software and tools. • Effective communication skills for client and internal team interactions. • Ability to collaborate across departments to support project goals. • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Experience in handling logistics and coordinating shipping processes.
