Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team in Venice, Florida, on a contract to permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about managing construction and renovation projects, whether residential or commercial. You will play a key part in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: • Oversee the progress of residential and commercial renovation projects from initiation to completion. • Review blueprints and schematics to provide accurate guidance for construction activities. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to fulfill project requirements. • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring milestones and deadlines. • Track budgets, manage expenses, and ensure compliance with contractual terms. • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and services from vendors. • Perform routine site visits to assess work quality and adherence to safety standards. • Provide clients with regular updates, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. • Resolve project-related issues, delays, or conflicts effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in project management software such as Raken and Project. • Strong knowledge of Excel and other Office tools. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately. • Experience managing timelines and schedules in construction or renovation projects. • Familiarity with budgeting and cost management processes. • Previous experience in residential or commercial renovation projects. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenges.
