Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Project Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Batavia, New York. This position involves working in a dynamic environment to support various aspects of project execution and coordination. The role requires active participation throughout the day, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced and hands-on settings. Responsibilities: • Assist with event logistics, including medal distribution at the finish line, water station management, and participant check-in. • Ensure smooth operations by actively coordinating assigned stations and addressing any issues that arise during the event. • Maintain and track project timelines to ensure milestones are met efficiently. • Support construction-related projects by organizing schedules and overseeing specific tasks. • Utilize scanning tools and systems to manage project documentation and maintain accurate records. • Collaborate with team members to align on master scheduling and priorities. • Contribute to overall project management efforts by monitoring progress and providing updates. • Ensure all tasks are performed with attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes. Requirements • Ability to work in a physically active role, including standing and moving throughout the day. • Previous experience in project management or related fields is preferred. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in managing timelines and schedules effectively. • Familiarity with construction projects and related processes is an advantage. • Competence in using scanning tools and handling documentation accurately. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • Commitment to delivering high-quality results within specified deadlines.
