Project Assistant
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the permitting team by managing administrative tasks and ensuring project timelines are met. This is a long-term contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs. Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to the permitting team, including organizing files and maintaining accurate records. • Perform data entry tasks to ensure information is up-to-date and accessible. • Collaborate with team members to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively. • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to create and manage documents. • Handle customer service inquiries and provide clear communication to stakeholders. • Assist with shipping tasks, ensuring materials are sent and received on time. • Scan and digitize documents for efficient storage and retrieval. • Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all files are properly categorized and stored. • Support team members in preparing presentations and reports. • Monitor project progress and provide updates as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. • Ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Organizational skills to manage files and documents systematically. • Familiarity with scanning and digitizing processes. • Experience with shipping functions and logistics coordination. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
