Project Architect
Job Title: Project ArchitectJob Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Architect with over 7 years of experience to lead consultants and technical teams in the effective execution of project designs and the delivery of implementation documents for healthcare projects. The role involves collaboration with project managers to develop and manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate technical teams and consultants to ensure effective project design execution.Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and manage production schedules.Prepare, review, and coordinate implementation documents to conform with QA/QC standards.Manage technical resolution and coordinate specific project segments, including code analysis for compliance.Facilitate internal and external design group interactions and lead consultant team work sessions.Maintain open communication with clients and provide project guidance.Coordinate with project managers, clients, public agencies, consultants, and contractors for engineering system incorporation and scope adjustments.Prepare and possibly present client presentations, including design concepts and drawings.Exercise persuasion and negotiation skills on critical issues and perform product research.Assist project designers with materials and systems evaluation and oversee the application of products and materials.Maintain awareness of risk management for potential project issues and lead team meetings to discuss project issues.Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and project meetings, and prepare/review meeting minutes for consultant coordination meetings.Resolve conflicts effectively, encourage a healthy team environment, and seek leadership opportunities by providing direction and feedback to team members.Collaborate with team leaders to deliver projects on defined budget requirements.Travel as required for project needs.
Essential SkillsProficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design.Experience with Revit and Construction Documents.Proven Project Management skills.Base Building Experience.Ability to produce CD Sets and manage Construction Administration.Expertise in Construction Drawings and Design Development.Experience in Commercial Construction and Healthcare projects.Registered Architect with a basic understanding of codes and ADA.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture preferred.Client interfacing personality.US Citizenship.
Work Environment

Our work environment offers a flexible schedule with a combination of office and remote work (typically 3 days). During the first 30 days, new employees are encouraged to work in the office for at least 4 days to acclimate to the firm and team members. The environment is highly collaborative, utilizing offices in NYC, DC, and Richmond, VA to staff all projects. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $45.67/hr.
