Join us. **Job Description** **Job Description** The AECOM Cultural Resources Team is currently seeking a Project Archaeologist (Permit Holder) to work out of any one of Western Canadian AECOM Offices to contribute to the growth and diversification of our archaeology team. The successful candidate will manage, coordinate and lead archaeological assessments and associated reporting in accordance with provincial and/or territorial standards while meeting the needs of our diverse range of clientele. To be considered for this position your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below in the requirement section. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field, having permit holder status and minimum 4 years of related experience. **Strongly preferred Qualifications:** + Experience successfully holding and completing a permitted impact assessment in Western and/or Northern Canada. + Have a valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract + Demonstrated ability to coordinate logistics for field teams + Experience with field effort tracking- i.e. collection and management of all field data + Must support the management of projects from the proposal phase to report completion, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams to successfully execute project deliverables. + Complete projects within client’s scope/budget/schedule expectations. + Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and Indigenous partners. + Experience completing archaeological reports in compliance with provincial and/or territorial regulations. + Experience preparing and implementing field health and safety materials. + Attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills. + Ability to work as part of a team and independently **Preference will be given to applicants with the following:** + Experience in more than on province, territory or cultural region in Western and Northern Canada + Minimum of 2 years consulting experience in Project Management role and 3+ years of field experience **Additional Information** **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. + Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
