This position will be onsite at our Redmond location.

Qualified candidates in the geographic market will be eligible for a salary range of $77,958.80 - $98,643.00 as well as a monthly phone stipend and yearly bonus.

General position summary:

The Project and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing commercial moving projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role ensures that all aspects of the move meet internal quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. This individual will coordinate with operations, sales, crews, and clients to oversee the lifecycle of each move—from pre-planning to post-move evaluation—while implementing quality assurance processes to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management

Lead and manage the execution of commercial moving projects from start to finish.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.Coordinate with operations teams to ensure staffing, equipment, and transportation logistics are aligned with project timelines.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project planning and execution.Conduct on-site supervision as needed to monitor progress and address issues in real-time.Ensure timely communication and reporting to internal teams and clients regarding project status, changes, or risks.

Quality Assurance 

Implement and monitor quality control standards across all phases of moving operations.Develop and maintain inspection checklists, SOPs, and performance metrics.Conduct regular quality audits on job sites and post-move reviews to ensure service excellence.Track and analyze project outcomes to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with training and operations teams to reinforce quality standards among crew members.

Safety and Compliance

Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company-specific safety protocols.Oversee site safety evaluations and crew compliance with safety measures.Lead incident investigations and corrective/preventative action planning.Participate in safety training and toolbox talks with field staff.

Customer Service & Client Relations

Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, timely updates, and problem resolution.Conduct pre-move site visits and post-move follow-ups to gather client feedback and ensure satisfaction.Address customer concerns or service issues promptly and professionally.Partner with account managers and sales to align project execution with client expectations.

Job Skills Required:

Strong project management and organizational skills.In-depth knowledge of commercial moving procedures, materials handling, and logistics.Working knowledge of safety compliance (OSHA, DOT) and quality assurance best practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project etc.).Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to resolve conflict, manage multiple projects, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, operations management, or a related field (preferred but not required).5+ years of experience in project management, quality assurance, or operations—preferably in commercial moving, logistics, or related industries.PMP or Six Sigma certification a plus.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Operations:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS (Human Resources Information System), timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workdayAbility to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work
