Summary

This Project and Event Specialist will support the mission of the Treatment Collaborative for Traumatized Youth (TCTY). This role is pivotal in advancing evidence-based trauma treatment across the region through the coordination of professional development opportunities, collaborative learning initiatives, and targeted community outreach.

Job Description

The ideal candidate project coordinator has experience and excels at managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. They possess excellent organizational and communication skills, can operate both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate a strong commitment to improving mental health outcomes for youth and families impacted by trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of trauma-focused learning collaboratives, advanced clinical trainings, and outreach events/trainings (both virtual and in-person), ensuring alignment with program goals and evidence-based practices.Facilitate coordination across community partners, clinical teams, and stakeholders to support seamless delivery of TCTY initiatives and ensure high levels of engagement and participation.Oversee logistical operations including event scheduling, venue selection, budget tracking, travel coordination, and continuing education documentation.Develop and manage timelines, work plans, and communication strategies to support project milestones and ensure efficient implementation of trauma training and outreach activities.Contribute to the design and dissemination of promotional materials for events and trainings, and manage digital communications through the TCTY website, email listserv, and social media platforms.Track program metrics and outcomes related outreach, training completion, and collaborative participation, providing regular reports to project leadership.Coordinate the procurement and distribution of materials, supplies, and resources necessary to support program activities.Support grant-related and administrative duties as needed, including documentation, reporting, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, communications, or other related field requiredMinimum of two years' work experience required

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

Managing projects and coordinating eventsFamiliarity with trauma-informed care, evidence-based mental health treatments, or behavioral healthStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointUtilizing Canva or other design tools for creating outreach, training, and social media content
