Work Schedule: Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am-5:30pm

Job Responsibilities
Serves as the liaison between the QA department and the Flow Cytometry department.
Serves as the liaison between the Safety department and the Flow Cytometry department.
Works with the supervisors, managers and directors on planning, initiating and completing all Change Controls.
Ensures that all SOPs, forms, policies, processes, employees, CAPA, NCE, etc. are entered into Master Control correctly.
Performs administrative support duties (e.g. maintains records, generates and/or sends reports and communications, maintains databases, enters data).
Assists supervisor/manager in performing various assigned responsibilities (i.e. planning, compliance, troubleshooting, training, making workflow recommendations, etc.) completely, accurately and within established timeframes.
Performs designated QA testing for developed (products, reports, interfaces, modules, training materials, etc.) before they are released for use.
Identifies problems, determines and provides/implements appropriate corrective action/accurate solutions in a timely manner.
Accurately identifies, tracks and reports associated costs, benefits and risks of assigned projects clearly to management and/or end user.
Coordinated work/information between designated parties and ensures optimal performance such that objectives and goals are achieved completely and accurately.
Ensure preventative maintenance and calibration schedules are adhered to for optimal performance of equipment. Able to perform all preventative maintenance and quality control on instrumentation.
Routinely performs technical and non-technical high complexity testing according to established standard operating procedures and protocols.
Reviews quality control data with identifying trends, problems, and accuracy of data. Troubleshoots, provides accurate solutions and resolves issues.
Reviews outlier results and QA exceptions accurately and within the required timeframe.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor’s degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Minimum 4 years of clinical laboratory experience is required with a Bachelor’s degree; 2 yrs required with a Master’s degree
Flow Cytometry experience is highly preferred
ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
