What You'll Be Doing

Job Scope: The Project Support provides daily administrative support for the department, particularly related to PR/PO/AR/AP inquiries and tracking, project file management, and documentation controls. This role will work under the direction of project managers.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Organize and maintain accurate records of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, and AR/AP to meet the requirements supporting project managers.

Prepare weekly project procurement reports for project managers.

Prepare monthly project cost reports for project managers.

Perform document control activities, including departmental control of all Sharepoint file management.

Ensure document controls for drawing check-out/in.

Willing to be trained on AutoCAD, and provide minor updates for drawings as requested.

Maintain electronic project files.

Perform clerical tasks in closing out projects, place project files in their proper electronic locations and SharePoint and project documents are transferred to Maintenance.

Provide logistical and support activities for team when called upon.

Ideal Background

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Advanced coursework is highly preferred.

Certification: No certification is required for this position.

Experience: This position requires 6 or more years of experience in providing administrative support, preferably in an industrial engineering environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Capable of defining efficient administration processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment. Able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive process technology and financial information. Be process-driven, organized, and detail-oriented. Able to interact and work collaboratively with others in a professional manner. Demonstrates ability to change direction in response to changing work situations.

Possess superb organizational skills.

Highly capable of new learnings.

Experience in a project environment a plus

Proficient in MS Office Products

SAP a plus

AutoCAD a plus
