Project Admin Assistant
Overview JOB TITLE Project Admin Assistant LOCATION Anchorage, AK TYPE OF POSITION Part-time/temporary GRADE SCHEDULE M-F flexible HOURS 10-20 hours per week REPORTS TO Fairweather Science Manager FLSA STATUS Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY: The Project Assistant supports the Fairweather Science team with all project support and logistical tasks for the business and projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in the planning and execution of project activities, including scheduling, organization, and resource allocation. Maintain project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes. Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting, ensuring expenses align with project goals. Help prepare project presentations and reports. Conduct research and gather data to support project initiatives and decision-making processes. Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned. Other duties as assigned JOB-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Previous experience in a project coordination or administrative support role is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with high proficiency in MS Excel Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
