Project Accountant
Job Title: Project Accountant Job Description We are looking to hire a Project Accountant professional who will play a crucial role in managing financial aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Responsibilities + Manage client invoicing and collections. + Track and maintain project budgets. + Assist with coding and processing accounts payable (A/P), timesheets, and expense reports. + Ensure accurate contract documentation and administration. + Collaborate with project managers and staff to resolve financial issues. + Perform other related duties as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Accounting, Project accounting, General ledger, Reconciliation, Month end, Accounts payable. + Expertise in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Outlook. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to handle confidential information. + Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School degree required. + Familiarity with Earned Value Management. Work Environment This role operates in an in-office setting with cubicles, fostering a family environment where everyone helps each other. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
