Job Description
Take responsibility for client invoicing, collections management, and project budgeting, as well as providing backup assistance on coding and processing accounts payable, time sheets, and expense reports. Conduct accurate contract documentation, administration, and maintenance, including fee and budget entry.
ResponsibilitiesWork with section and project personnel to provide timely contract performance data and resolve financial issues.Coordinate the project accounting system within the department and work with technical staff to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.Assist multiple project managers and staff on a daily basis.Perform other duties as needed.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in project-related accounting.Proficiency in project invoicing and budgeting.Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.Knowledge of Oracle or any ERP system.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.Associate degree in a closely related field or equivalent experience required.Familiarity with Earned Value Management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.Ability to handle confidential information.Proficiency with MS Office, including Word and Outlook.Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM with flexibility for an 8-hour workday. The position requires working in the office 3-4 days per week after the training period, which is based on experience. Locations considered include areas outside of Pittsburgh, such as Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Philadelphia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.90 - $39.25/hr.
