Project Accountant
Job Title: Project Accountant Job Description We are seeking a Project Accountant for our downtown Indianapolis Site Improvements project. This position requires managing several contracts and invoices concurrently, with a focus on accounting and invoicing. The role offers flexibility regarding onsite presence, depending on experience. Responsibilities + Manage accounting and invoicing for the project. + Coordinate and oversee multiple contracts and invoices simultaneously. + Ensure accurate monthly billing (Accounts Payable and Invoicing). + Maintain effective stakeholder communication, including interactions with contractors and subcontractors. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of experience in monthly billing (AP and Invoicing). + Proficiency in basic Excel functions. + Comfortable with stakeholder communication, particularly with contractors and subcontractors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A degree is preferred but not required. + Familiarity with Procore, eBuilder, SMIC software. + Experience with change orders. + Experience in construction would be a plus. Work Environment The position is primarily based on a job site setting with an office available at the site and in Indianapolis. The majority of work will be conducted on-site. Benefits include a 401K match of 3%, health and vision insurance, and an excellent PTO program. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
