Programs Manager Job Details Job Location Delaware Valley - Callicoon, NY Position Type Full Time Education Level 2 Year Degree Salary Range $70000.00 - $77000.00 Salary/year Job Category Management Job Posting Date(s) Start Date 07/17/2025 Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Programs Manager to oversee and manage the following departments and functions: Academics, Career Technical Training, Residential Living, Counseling, Recreation, Career Preparation, and Career Transition. The Programs Manager will ensure student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program, along with successful placement upon program completion. Key Responsibilities: + Direct and oversee the management of various departments and related student programs and activities to meet and exceed performance expectations. + Provide students with educational and career technical training leading to academic and career technical training completions. + Provide students with a career transition program that prepares students for quality placements. + Provide students with comprehensive and individualized case management that ensures student progress, achievement and completion of the Job Corps program, along with timely placements. + Facilitate student placement in full-time jobs, higher education, apprenticeships, or advanced training. + Provide students with quality and structured non-class hour activities including leadership, student government, independent living skills and other special programs. + Maintain a clean, safe, and secure living environment for students. + Provide extended training opportunities to supplement students' education, training, and development. + Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data. + Fill staff vacancies in accordance with company expectations. + Train new and current staff, and effectively motivate, empower and require staff to meet performance expectations. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school required. + A minimum of five years of experience in education, training, residential/group living or related field required; two years of which must be supervisory experience. + A valid in-State teaching certificate preferred. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.
