D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Programmer-Analyst II. The right candidate will customize Empower GUI’s and documents based on general specifications provided by Business Analysts or self-written specifications after BA consultations..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Deliver well-designed and technically sound software solutions to solve business problemsChampion solid software design, processes and clean codeCollaborate with product owners, business analysts and fellow developersContribute to the design and implementation of applications, services, APIs, and frameworksEnhance and/or migrate existing applications and servicesParticipate in the continuous improvement of toolsets and practicesConduct code reviewsCreate and maintain automated builds and releasesProvide occasional off-hours support for releasesAdhere to policies and controls, and commit to the protection of company and customer information

Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience3 -

Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 -4 years experience as a programmer in a hardware/software environment similar to DHIFSAbility to do programming debugging, data analysis and limited system analysisGood planning, problem solving, analytical, people and communication skills requiredPrevious experience working with “packaged/proprietary” software essentialCustomer service orientation a mustStrong software design and programming ability
