Purpose of the Job:

Build, maintain, document, and monitor the interfaces that the Treasury maintains with its business partners. Will act as the Treasury’s technical liaison with partners who have interfaces with the Treasury. May also work on other data and ETL related projects as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain C# console apps for ETL purposesDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts for file managementManage interface file storageManage FTP infrastructureEstablish logging and monitoring practices for all interfacesDevelop and execute test plans for new interfaces and changes to interfacesExtensively document processes including data flows and file formatsDevelop competency with the Commonwealth Information Warehouse (CIW) and facility Treasury’s ad hoc reporting needsMaintain reporting databases in SQL ServerMaintain MS Access ad hoc reporting databasesAttain expertise in all aspects of payment processing at the TreasuryAttain proficiency with NACHA rules and regulations and ACH file formatsAttain proficiency with data integration with ArcGIS mapping softwareLearn how to administer, maintain, and develop Salesforce solutions

Hybrid Work Environment:

All new hires at the Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General (Treasury) will go through an In-OfficeOrientation Period consisting of a combination of virtual, in-person and on-the-job training so as to assimilateyou to the Treasury’s culture and work environment. Following the initial In-Office Orientation Period agradual transition to hybrid work will take place over the first 3-8 weeks of employment.

The hybrid work environment will consist of a minimum of two (2) days in the office each week, with one ofthese days being either a Monday or a Friday. Hybrid work arrangement is based on business needs of thedepartment. There will be an additional (1) day in the office per month for a mandatory in person departmentmeeting.
