Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL. Enhance existing APEX applications by adding new features, improving UI/UX, and optimizing performance. Refactor and modernize legacy APEX code to align with current standards and best practices. Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams to automate internal tooling and dashboards. Integrate APEX with backend systems using RESTful Web Services, and OAuth2. Utilize tools like Postman to test APIs and validate integrations. Write clean, maintainable SQL, PL/SQL, and frontend code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). Conduct impact analysis and implement improvements based on user feedback and usage analytics. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the full stack (APEX < - > Database < - > Cloud). Participate in code reviews and design discussions, with a focus on maintainability, security, and performance. Work closely with stakeholders to deliver rapid prototypes and iterate on enhancements. Interest or experience in adding AI features (like Oracle AI Services, chatbots, predictive analytics) to APEX apps is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

4–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development, including application enhancement and refactoring. Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience. Comfortable working within Agile frameworks and environments, with a focus on iterative development and continuous improvement. Strong understanding of performance tuning and usability optimization techniques in APEX. Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and deliver incremental improvements.
