About the role

 

This is an exciting opportunity and time to join our Transformation management office as a PMO Manager. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and collaborative individual to be at the heart of delivering our transformation change agenda. Boots UK has a significant portfolio of transformational change comprising multiple large scale business change programmes.

As the PMO Manager you will be responsible for collating the portfolio view of these programmes across all the disciplines of MSP best practice.

 

Key responsibilities

 

· Programme portfolio monitoring, tracking and reporting across milestones, risks, financials, dependencies and deliverables ensuring clear and transparent reporting to senior stakeholders

· Providing programme assurance by conducting health checks and reviews with programmes to evaluate and identify their effectiveness, then coach and support teams to implement improvements

· Maintain centralised repositories, holding the central Transformation Management office information strategy and plan for all key programme documentation

· Managing the standardisation of key programme management methodologies (utilising MSP industry best practice), ensuring they are implemented consistently and maintained across the portfolio of programmes. Able to challenge where standards are not met and have a continual improvement mindset to learn from and improve processes, templates and tools

· Proactive future planning for transformation team events from company wide communication of transformation updates through to management of local team events

· Tracking and monitoring of all key actions relating to the central transformation office, ensuring actions followed up and completed to time and quality.

 

What you'll need to have

 

You will have 5+ years experience of working in large transformation programme environments either as a Programme Manager or PMO Manager with a proven track record of successful delivery.

· Working in complex change programmes, such as organisation design, culture, process or systems changes

· Working in the broader field of project, programme and portfolio management and strategic planning

· Working with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and able to communicate clearly at all levels.
