The Stockpile Programs (SP) Program Specialist (PS) serves as support to the SP Directors and Program Managers, often interacting with organizations such as Production Integration, Mission Support, Mission Engineering, Mission Assurance, and others. The PS supports and enables Program level management with a group of related tasks and other work scope in an integrated, coordinated, and efficient manner; assisting in identifying customer needs, requirements, and opportunities. The PS will provide support in a variety of capacities to include, but not limited to the following:
Maintain timely and accurate reporting of SP programs status Lead the Defense Programs Business Process System requirements flow down database update efforts for Stockpile Programs Maintain organization procedures and policies Assist in the planning and development of materials for various organizational meetings Lead the commitment tracking efforts for SP federal requirements Lead various data and information gathering efforts to support deliverable accomplishments Support the various change control processes Assist with developing, implementing training, and mentoring efforts for SP Supports SP Management with coordinating and making arrangements for on and off-site visits, meetings, tours, etc. Manage the SP group share drive folders (classified and unclassified) Administer and maintains the SP group SharePoint Resource Page Supports various programmatic audits and assessments, as required Coordinates and support the Weapon Intern Program (WIP), and other external assignments to NNSA Assists with coordinating Defense Programs awards, including ceremony preparations Supports staffing actions, as necessary Assists with new hire orientation/establishment Evaluates, develops and in some cases, delivers orientation materials to SP personnel Supports Program Managers in accomplishing various programmatic tasks, as requested Other tasks assigned by management in support of executing SP work scope and goals This position is part of the SP Program Management Office (PMO) whose role is to support SP initiatives through the centralization and standardization of common tasks/activities, performance of special programmatic initiatives, and the coordination of common business and administrative functions. As a PMO Team Member, your contributions will be key to timely and efficient SP scope planning, execution, and reporting. OR Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. OR PhD OR Thirteen or more years of relevant education, training, and/or relevant experience will be reviewed and considered for equivalency to these requirements. Preferred Job Requirements
