What You will Do:
Apply statistical techniques, trend analysis, and continuous improvement tools on the product, process and program performance to provide early warning indicators for initiating preventative or corrective actions.Initiate, facilitate, manage, and validate the effectiveness of root cause analysis, corrective, and preventative actions utilizing analytical capabilities and communications skills.Review and analyze project and customer requirements and assisting project teams in tailoring and using customers’ procedures, methods, templates, and tools.Establish verification and validation processes for the inspection and acceptance of hardware, software, and data deliverables.Support project risk and opportunities process.Support project tailoring, project plan/documentation development, and other activities to establish the project's execution processes.Support the creation and execution of an effective AS9100D internal audit strategy to verify the conformance of processes in accordance with the Quality Management Systems (QMS).Investigate defects, root cause and corrective actions and drive the parts failure investigations.Communicate failure analysis reports to stakeholders and input the data into the SAP/ETQ system when required Support the maintenance and upkeep of all requisite internal and external records and revision of approved quality plans and procedures to meet changing requirements.Manage customer escapes and customer complaints data using the customer’s portals. Create presentation materials for senior management, including reports to Customers and Government representatives.Conduct weekly calls with the customer’s program quality team and share failure analysis reports with stakeholdersSupport the coordination and execution of monthly Corrective Action Boards (CABs) and Management Reviews.Provide monthly status reports containing the customer's baseline performance metrics, detailed progress reports, and discussion critical path timelines.Participate in all required meetings, including a kick-off meeting with the customer to present a briefing of the work to be completed, project schedules, and overall goalsHow You Will Get Here:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2-4 years of experience Knowledge of GD&T specifications and industry standardsAbility to communicate with all levels within the company and external customers.Knowledge of Quality Management System Documentation as it relates to production practices.Possess strong written and verbal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office productsExperience with SAPExperience with Excellence Through Quality (ETQ) softwarePay Range: $70,000-$80,000 a year
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT with a hybrid schedule.You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required
