Role Overview
The Program Manager for Product Care will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the product care program for a portfolio of precision instruments used in construction and other verticals. This role ensures our customers maximize the value of their investment by providing comprehensive support, maintenance, and training services. The Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including product development and customer support to drive operational efficiency, ultimately leading to improved costs and productivity. This role is based in Jena, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy and Development
Develop and implement a comprehensive product care strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Define and manage the scope, goals, and deliverables of the product care program.
Conduct technical analysis and identify opportunities for enhancing our product care offerings.
Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics to ensure high quality service delivery.
Program Execution and Management
Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor product care initiatives.
Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Ensure timely delivery of product care services, including technical support, repairs, maintenance, and training.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure availability of spare parts and equipment.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product care operations.
Prepare regular reports on program performance and service metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular reviews of product care processes and procedures.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of product care professionals.
Foster a collaborative and operationally focused team environment.
Work closely with product development teams to ensure new products are designed with serviceability in mind.

Strong understanding of precision instruments and technologies used in construction and related industries.
Knowledge of service and maintenance processes and best practices.

Expected Experience

Experience in the construction or related industries is highly desirable.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects.
Experience in leading and developing teams.
International experience and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
