As a Program Manager II, you will be responsible for abstracting clinical data for the mechanical cardiac assist registry (INTERMACS) and heart transplantation cases. A caregiver in this role supports accreditation surveys by maintaining knowledge of regulatory standards and develops operational, quality, and research reports to drive continuous improvement. Within this role, you will manage implementations and maintenance of designated programs while serving as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
A caregiver in this position works remotely, weekdays 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.
Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
Allocates time to meet completion requirements.
Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Offset: Associate’s degree and five years of experience may substitute the Bachelors degree requirement.
Offset: Master’s degree and two year of experience may substitute for one year of experience.
Three years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training.
Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Data analysis experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Transplant Regulatory data abstraction
Mechanical Assist Device data abstraction (this job has oversight of VAD Program data management)
Knowledge of Solid Organ Transplantation (specially heart) and abstraction regulatory requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Data Management and analytical skills
Knowledge/ familiarity with electronic EMR (EPIC) and preferably Phoenix epic
transplant module
Can effectively collaborate with clinical team, administrative team and IT team

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
