Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive material and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our AML Strategy and Enablement team. The Program Manager will manage a portion of an enterprise initiative related to our go-forward strategy for updating AML/KYC client information. This includes all elements of the project life cycle, inclusive of people/process/technology from initiation through implementation.
The Program Manager will work directly with management of enterprise AML/KYC leaders to define the structure, process, and requirements for the solution as well as to document evidence of key milestones and decisions for regulatory oversight.
We are looking for a strong leader with an enterprise process improvement mindset, ability to challenge and influence stakeholders, and with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders Works closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiativesMonitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicatorsAnalyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks, and produces program reports for managers and stakeholdersIdentifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with the program objectives Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolutionMeets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.Analyzes present-state for enterprise AML/KYC refresh program, and builds, socializes, and delivers a comprehensive strategy for the desired AML program changeRepresents the health and status of program and projects, through effective verbal and written communication channels, to Change executive and senior stakeholdersPartners with sponsors to support and maintain momentum and plans for the delivery of the projectsEnsures high quality artifacts throughout the project life cycle are created, delivered, and stored in alignment with milestone requirementsImplements best-practice routines to capture and manage the end-to-end plan of recordEnsures stakeholder engagement and keeps them informed of progressTracks and escalates risk and issues at the program levelCommunicates, influences, and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resourcesIntegrates end-to-end business process into program planning and decisioning processesEnsures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project rolesSupports team members with escalations and impediments on projectsAdheres to and delivers on enterprise change management standardsRequired Qualifications:
At least 8 years of project/program management experienceExperience managing People, Process, Technology Projects and understanding various technologies and infrastructure conceptsExcellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlinesAbility to identify and propose the tasks & deliverables that will be necessary to achieve the desired outcomeStrong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomesKnowledge of structured project management methodsAbility to lead cross-functional workgroups and champion initiativesCompetent with MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and VisioDesired Qualifications:
Prior experience in Global Operations and/or enterprise AML/KYC processesPrior experience in planning, leading, delivering associate and client readiness plansExcellent verbal and communications skills.
