Job Description
Platform Deprecation:
Drive the full lifecycle of sunsetting a legacy, large-scale streaming product, including platform audits, service migration, data archival, and system shutdown.
Identify and manage dependencies across engineering, operations, and product functions while minimizing business disruption.
Partner with senior technical leads to coordinate infrastructure decommissioning, redirect traffic flows, and handle migration to new platforms or services.
Track technical risks, runbooks, and contingency plans to ensure safe and complete deprecation. Privacy, InfoSec &
Legal Compliance:
Lead cross-functional initiatives tied to data privacy (e.g., CCPA), information security, and legal readiness.
Partner with Legal, InfoSec, Product, and Data teams to drive prioritization, execution, and verification of enterprise-wide compliance efforts.
Manage roadmap planning, delivery, and reporting of regulatory and risk mitigation projects, including privacy assessments, policy enforcement, and audit readiness.
Facilitate recurring reviews and risk assessments with appropriate stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of experience in technical program or project management within digital or media organizations.
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale platform deprecation or sunsetting initiatives with deep technical interdependencies.
Deep understanding of data privacy regulations, compliance programs, and information security principles.
Strong technical acumen; ability to engage in architectural and infrastructure discussions with engineers and technical leaders.
Outstanding cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to influence and align diverse teams toward shared outcomes in complex environments.
Proficiency in program tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucid, or equivalent. Background in streaming technology, media infrastructure, or digital content delivery systems.
Experience managing third-party vendor integrations, service exits, or external audits.
Knowledge of risk frameworks like NIST, SOC2, ISO 27001 or experience working with InfoSec teams on controls and audits.
PMP, CIPP, or SAFe certification is a plus null
