Job Overview and Responsibilities

 

This role is responsible for providing financial oversight across the Hubs and NOC, ensuring that all financial operations, including planning, analysis, reporting, and account management, are in line with the company’s established standards. The role requires the regular preparation of financial reports and the ability to conduct on-the-spot analysis to bolster the financial functions of the Business Office. Strategic insight is crucial for leading initiatives aimed at developing new tools to enhance process efficiency. The role also includes guiding and mentoring a team, promoting their professional development and overseeing their performance.

 

Development and delivery of financial analyses, and provision of accurate financial supporting to the Hubs Finance office and the NOCDemonstrates ability to adapt analytic approach to changes in the Station strategy or department goalsManage strategic projects by identifying and implementing process improvementsDevelop, implement, and maintain standardized process to ensure consistency and accuracyCollaborate with various leaders to ensure support meets the needs of the Hubs Business OfficeManagement of direct reports/dotted line reports, communications, reviews, knowledge skills and abilities sharing/development, coaching, etc

 

NOTE: This position is based at the AHSC - Arlington Heights Service Center located at 1421 W. Shure Dr., Arlington Heights IL 60004 and is considered a hybrid schedule, in-office 3 days a week however that may evolve with the needs of the company. This position is not eligible for relocation if you reside out of state, therefore relocating will be at your own expense.
 

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

 

High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of finance/accounting experience2+ years of experience on Airport Operations1+ years of experience in AO Business OfficeProficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBITrack record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to prioritize a range of responsibilities and adapt as business problems changeStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with othersStrong project management skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong data analysis and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate optimally, both in written form and verballyStrong presence and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with focus on resultsPlan, develop and implement an audit program to adequately identify and assess risks in Hubs Business Office and the NOCProvide analysis and explanation to station leadership, senior leadership, and the FinanceProvide leadership to the direct reports to ensure accomplishment of goals set by the management teamMust be willing and able to travel at least 50% domestic and internationalMust be willing and able to work a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in-officeMust be willing and able to work at the Arlington Heights facility in Arlington Heights, ILMusts be willing and able to relocate at your own expense if you reside out of state (external candidate)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
