About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to drive exciting new product development in automotive ECUs, controllers, and sensors — from concept to mass production — delivering innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role demands strong technical expertise, proactive leadership, and exceptional project management skills to ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Ownership
Lead complete lifecycle of NPD projects from product kick-off to successful mass production.
Ensure all customer milestones, quality standards, and timelines are met without compromise.
2. Development Management
Oversee ECU, controller, and sensor development aligned with automotive industry processes.
Maintain and track Master Development Plans (MDP) for each project.
Provide key technical insights and costing inputs to support decision-making.
3. Status Tracking & Reviews
Conduct regular Cross-Functional Team (CFT) reviews and gate reviews.
Prepare and circulate detailed status reports and Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) to all stakeholders.
Highlight critical issues early to ensure swift resolution.
4. Escalation & Risk Management
Identify risks or delays that may impact delivery commitments.
Work with functional heads to implement corrective measures.
Escalate unresolved issues to top management and conduct weekly/fortnightly review meetings.
5. Customer Interface
Act as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial discussions with customers.
Coordinate internally with engineering, marketing, and other functions to ensure seamless support.
Document and share MOMs for all customer meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field.
Proven track record in managing automotive electronics NPD projects.
Strong knowledge of ECU, controller, and sensor development processes.
Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
