JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Manager will play a critical role in driving business growth by expanding available modification offerings, establishing and furthering industry partnerships, exploring and developing new opportunities, and bringing innovative modification to market. They will work with internal teams and external suppliers as well as other aircraft business entities. They will identify and assess strategic opportunities across a diverse range of topics; including, but not limited to, aircraft product offerings, services, programs, facilities. This is a vital, global position, within Textron Aviation Customer Service and Customer Support that will help shape and influence the future of Textron Aviation’s aftermarket business as well as impact our overall brand.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the development of various aircraft systems by working with internal stakeholder resources as well as outside suppliersSupport the analysis and execution of strategic initiatives, new product offerings, new business endeavors with a particular focus on product developmentUnderstand and utilize Customer Service software systems and available data for working with field aircraft, finance, part information, or customer specificsUnderstand the aftermarket business and key issues at a detailed levelProactively research issues, anticipate opportunities, and provide answers and insight to key questionsDevelop hypotheses and prove/disprove with supporting analysisIdentify emerging aftermarket trends, monitor competitive activity, and provide insights to the organization regarding the market landscapeDevelop and execute business cases, detailed implementation plans, and raise/resolve issuesEvaluate and lead business development opportunities, partnering with finance, contracts, engineering, sales, planning, and other operating functions; internal and external as neededDevelop presentations on new products and business opportunities for management and leadership review at all levelsMaintain flexibility to take on and handle other duties as requiredTravel up to 10% of standard workweekJOB SUMMARY:

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Aviation, Engineering, Finance, or other related fieldMBA degree preferred but not requiredFAA Pilot or Maintenance ratings preferred but not requiredMinimum 5 years of aircraft operational or relevant experience is requiredQUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to strategically think and plan and tactically prioritize and executeAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization through various mediumsStrong project management skills, and ability to network across the company to achieve objectivesStrong analytical, quantitative and presentation skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft office productsSelf-starter and motivator that works well in a team environment
